Dangerous animals escape
These guys are such morning people. I am not. They are always so chipper!
Take a look at that bare spot right off the back porch. I got some free “top soil” a couple years back that apparently acts as RoundUp®. Kind of gives the place a hillbilly feel. I really need to fix that.
English Dogwood is blooming
Butch Anthony, you are the king.
KNY sent a link introducing me to Butch Anthony. Oh MAN, how had I never heard of this guy?
Butch is a total inspiration to a junk man like me. Amazing stuff. Makes me want to go by the dump to see if there’s any new magic to find. We need to take a pilgrimage to his Museum of Wonder in Seale, Alabama.
Here is my homage to Butch. A few things picked out of my pile behind the house, a few beads, a little paint and wire. It’s no Butch Anthony but maybe it will help dress up the chicken pen. It was certainly one of those feel good projects.
Chuck E. Cheese is an Asian
Trudie and I had a great lunch today at Mr. Chin’s. It’s in the old Chuck E. Cheese’s® in north Jackson. They cleaned that place up and made it inviting again. They really should have kept the old ball pit.
Afterwards, we strolled around in his Oriental Supermarket. Great stuff in there!
I guess while Mom was getting a tan, the babies died. I’m going to have to get one just to see what a dead baby duck looks like.
I couldn’t find a big dead rat for sale in the whole place. I should have asked where they keep him.
Keep on Truckin
Riding down Lakeland Drive, I happened to pass this guy in his motorized wheelchair. Pretty ballsy, riding that thing down that busy street. Check out his hat. Love it! My hats off to you, Dude!
Sriracha is the BEST!
Do you use Sriracha? It has the most incredible smell and taste of any hot sauce I’ve tried. A truly amazing product made by Huy Fong Foods in sunny California. Just look at that rooster logo! Classy!
