Ok, first I stumbled on Pieter Hugo’s photo series on Nollywood. 
Then, I found his series on ‘Gadawan Kura’ as they are known in Hausa (a rough translation: ‘hyena handlers/guides’). These photos are amazing! 
And I thought my cats looked tough!

/ August 14, 2008Man the first stuff of his that I ever saw were the hyena/baboon men photos. You are damn straight that stuff is cool as a… well you know how cool it is. Try to keep it clean for the kids.
