GermanFest has come and gone

Another year of cooking brats and pork chops, drinking a little adult Kool-Aid and catching up with people I only see once a year. Of course you know, everyone there worked so much harder than I did. I seem to have a way of choosing the easy jobs. I hear the t-shirts, kraut labels and such were a big hit. (Thank goodness!) So much pressure when you are designing things for people you see all the time.

Check out this cool face painting job my niece, Ginni Beth Endris, did for Emily. Pretty funny.

If you missed getting to see the bands, Die Mitternachters and Mississippi Swing, here are couple seconds of glory that will make you wish you had been there. video
Did you see my nephew, Jacob Cox, rocking that tuba? That stuff makes you wish you'd been there! Doesn't it? Sure it does.

Fun times. One of the things we miss about being home. Always fun to stroll around and bump into random people that you don't want to see and that don't want to see you. And when I say 'you' I mean 'me'. All joking aside... always enjoyable.
