Manhunt in Madison, The City, is finally over!

After avoiding capture for more than two years, Animal Control officials for the City of Madison, finally caught up with the elusive Craig West, aka Chicken Man of Madison. Upon receiving several complaints by his neighbor, Kussi T. Killthemall, MAC officials were forced to enforce the City's anti-chicken ordinance and ordered West to remove the illegal birds.

That's right, I finally got busted for keeping chickens in the city limits. They have all been moved to my Father In-Laws. Although I won't be seeing them everyday, I will try to keep you informed of their well being.

After only being in the new pen for about 10 minutes, 3 "locals" tried to show Lydia who her new bosses were.

After a couple minutes of hair/comb pulling and scratching, she quickly showed those chicks who was the real boss!

Notice the terror in their eyes.

Thanks to all those who have sent letters and cards of condolence, especially those who made this.

Well that utterly and totally sucks. Seriously. Since 'dogs' are in fact leagal I would buy four or five and train them to bark around the clock.

Yeah, yesterday I was really upset about the whole thing. I am quite fond of my birds. But Kenny, I was breaking the law, and we just can't have that! (yep, I am still pretty bitter.)

Wait, I just found this chicken blog and it's already over? What happened to Dinner?

The blog is will still feature chicken news from time to time, I just don't have chicks in my backyard anymore. Sad but true. I can no longer scamper around the yard acting like Old McDonald. I am now reduced to civil uniformity!

My Dad adopted Diner when he was still a young rooster. He lives the good life, bumming around Dad's barn in the "county".

Good to hear from you, Mr. Cain! Good to see Sol Free doing so well in the iPhone Apps store, too!
